Getting bored. Need some inspiration

Hello all,

Seems like i was just 16 yesterday playing all the best FPS's and beating them in just a few days. These days, there are great FPS's out on the market and it seems everyone i play i enjoy, but beat, and am left unfulfilled once again. Its a viscious cycle.

I am in search of a great new FPS. Games i have enjoyed/beaten and own (that i can remember off the top of my head).

-Crysis
-FarCry
-HL2
-Fear (original/extraction point and perseus mandate) Amazing games
-All Doom series
-All Quake series
-Rainbow 6 Vegas
-Painkiller
-Prey Demo

Games i have heard of that may be of interest to buy.

-Chron of Riddick Escape from Butchers Bay
-COD 4
-New Painkiller...Painkiller games seem too plain run and gun though

Games not interested in
-Bioshock
-Stalker

Any games or recommendations you guys can give me? Thanks. Life or death situation here

 

The Unreal Tournament series. Specifically, UT99, UT2004, and UT3. All great games.

 

You cannot make a mistake with CoD4, it is a really remarkable game, in latest verison in new modern ambient. There is no graphics that makes this game great, but gameplay and modern war feeling. Also, it doesn't require strong computer to run without any problem.
Painkiler is good game if you are looking only for hard core shooting and running around. Action is that makes that game popular. But, by my opinion, there is nothing more to remember there.

 

CoD4 is easily the best shooter available now.

 

Ehh is do you even need to ask? Why the hell haven't you gotten CoD4? Its quite unanimous that CoD4 is one of the best game of 07

 

Have you tried your favorite FPS...ON WEED!!!

 

Call of Duty 4, Battlefield 2, Battlefield 1942, and Battlefield 2142. All amazing games. I still love 2142 and BF2 more than Call of Duty 4... but I'm pretty outnumbered.

 

Cod 4 is the best game ive played this year, Chron of riddicks is also a great game,

 

Thanks guys..I think COD4 is the way to go but after watching gameplay clips on youtube it doesnt seem AMAZING..just another one in the bunch..maybe im wrong. I thought all the FEAR games were ridiculously amazing. COD4 seems like "pick your mission, run around and shoot at anything that makes a spark or moves" It seemed like there was way too much going on..Ive played all the Unreal tournament's as well. BF2142 always gets good reviews

Cod4 ,best fps available ,specially if you like playing online multiplayer ,thats the game 4 you

 

CoD4 is just amazing. No other way to describe it. Intense single player and beefy multiplayer makes for one of the best FPSs to date. Plus it's just plain gorgeous to look at.

Haha, here I am turning 23 in a week, graduated school and a great job, dreading the thought of anything after "Buy a Home."

How about

-Buy a Home
-Install crazy loud surround sound speakers and blast your way through your game collection with no neighbors bothering you as well as a huge frikkin' monitor
-Date as many women as possible
-Get Married at the age of 45
-Have a baby

If only I didn't get sucked into having a gf back when i was in college.... hahahaha

 

Get CoD4! It's seriously the best shooter out right now!

 

Simply amazing...sniper level where you blow off that guys arm is my favorite. Thanks all def a good buy. Looks and runs flawless on my rig at native res and most all options turned on (shadows/depth etc..)

Any bonus materials in this game to unlock?

 

nah... besides the unreal series get these: Dark messiah of might and magic (preferably with the add-on), hitman blood money (really something to calm you down ), assassin's creed... and finally splinter cell chaos theory and double agent.
