    Hi all,

I am intending to get a new laptop for the release of Guild Wars 2, a game I'm pretty excited about. I have been trying to get up to speed with the current market of processor types etc. and obviously graphics cards.

I really want to be able for my laptop to do GW2 justice, and would really like to play it on higher, if not the highest setting. This might need a little expectation management, but that's all part of doing the research right? So I was wondering if someone could give me a heads up on where the current market is at with GPUs.

From what I've read it, and feel free to set me straight on this, is that nVidia is currently where it's at. Their cards offering competitive performance but variable clocking saving battery life. I'm interested in whether or not we are on the cusp of a new set of mobile cards, something that will push the more powerful current crop into a more affordable price bracket.

Any information about the outlook for the next few months would be much appreciated.

There aren't any replies. I see no records of anything being deleted. That being said I'll ask the admins if there was a database issue.
