    why do some people always mention graphics card as GFX?
    it is inaccurate , some people even mention ATI radeon as GFX?

    It's probably short for "graphics".

    I use "GPU".

    GFX= Lazy acronym for "Graphics".

    GPU is interchangeable with GFX and VGA, it just depends on each person's preference. I however haven't see VGA in common use since I was on Windows 95/98.

    Yep, that's exactly the way I see it. It's just people being lazy.
