    Whenever I see anything about the new GR, all I can think is "what the hell is this invisibility-suit junk?" I was heavily involved with Ghost Recon (as well as Desert Siege and Island Thunder), both in stock form and in modded form (still remember some of the great work put out by BajaBravo and Monolith at ThePlatoon.com), and the only "stealth" that existed was real-life stealthiness...moving slowly and quietly from cover to cover while wearing camo.

    I hope they don't dumb it down as much like Splinter Cell Conviction. Granted, it was fun. But it didn't have "technical" feeling like the previous splinter cell games. Well, here's to hoping I get in the beta as well.

    Im right there with you. The first Ghost Recons (original - through Island Thunder) were some of the best tactical shooters ever. They started to loose some of their luster on AW but I played AW2 and it was ok.

    I just went to the site and watched the promo trailer and LOL it looked stupid as hell. Frankly the combat looked gimmicky and corny and then to top it off you can be invisible now? What happened to this series?

    lets just hope its not as bad as battlefield free to play as that was pants.
