I picked up a g751jy and sadly all the sound comes from the sub, I'm s3nding it back tomorrow for a rma and am a little concerned with all the issues I've read about them, and am wonderingwhat you guys think, try out another g751 or grab a gt72?

I would get that Asus again... If it still fails, get the GT72.. Asus for me has been rock solid and my G73JH lasted for years.. MSI from my impressions is just not as reliable and has issues with build quality and hell Asus's cooling beats MSI's anytime..

If you have a lot of issues with the ASUS and the RMA does not fix it, then say screw it. Also, the MSI is exceedingly expensive. I'd suggest one of the Clevos instead. Audio from the speakers won't be as good, but seeing as how I can buy a fully decked out GT72 for about the same price as a fully decked out SLI clevo model? Yeah... I can't recommend the GT72 to anyone.
