It patched today! Go try it out if you haven't. I've been playin' it since pre-release and I still enjoy it. :D

You can get it from Steam (hit Download Demo - it's actually the full version):
    http://store.steampowered.com/app/17020/

    Or, from HiRez website:

    EDIT:
    http://www.mmorpg.com/gamelist.cfm/game/339/feature/5121/Free-Agent-QA.html/page/1

Global Agenda is going f2p because that's where the money is. Kind of ironic. ;)

Is there any difference with where you get it from? Do the people who get it from the HiRez website play with people from steam?

There is no difference between the two methods regarding gameplay. However, whenever there is a patch for GA, the Steam client usually has a larger patch size because it can't edit files (it complete replaces the file, even if only one line was changed).

Yes, it's more of a third person shooter type game, there's nothing wrong with it going free to play imo. It's quite a bit of fun, I wish more people would play it actively.

What I meant was do players from either one play with each other. Like can people who play it on steam play with people who got it from the HiRez website?
