How would this run? There's a pretty smokin deal for a laptop that has a Go 7600 right now...the only game I'd be thinking of playing is WoW but would like to hook it up to my 24" LCD 1920x1080 screen.
What do you all think? Yes? No? Look for something else?

With that card, you should be able to play it at the native res just fine.
For instance, I played it at 1280*800 with an integrated ATI card. So a much much much more powerful gpu should be fine at that resolution. -
Think so? I had a MBP that had the x1600 that ran @ 1440x900 pretty well, except I did have to turn things down quite a bit during raids and what-not. Me being the "genius" that I am...never tried WoW on my MBP through the 24" LCD before I sold it.
This is the 256mb 7600, I had the 128mb x1600. -
What about an 8600 GS?
-
well my friend uses a 7950 GTX and runs at 1920 x 1020 and he sometimes dips down below 30 fps during big raids
-
the 8600 or 7600 would do great......but i think the 8600 is slightly better.
-
is this just one giant joke topic or...
-
Holy ****. Holy ****ing ****. You did not just ask how WoW runs, did you? Oh my ****ing god.
EDIT: I know you made this post before I told everyone to shut the hell up about WoW, but still. -
Well man, there's more than 9 millions people playing wow, so there has to be people asking questions it.
Go 7600 + WoW + 24" LCD
