    Hello,
    I want some info regarding the Go 7600 256MB DDR3 VS. Go 7900GS 512MB GDDR3

How far will the performance differ?
I have read the comparison chart which says that the 7900GS is high end graphic card whereas the 7600 is a performance card.

But i want to know whether the performance of the 7600 will differ in a qosmio? Because the Qosmio has the qosmio engine.

How far will the graphics of games like BF2 differ?

Actually, I wanted to buy a Dell XPS M1710 with Go 7900 GTX but its unaffordable.

So I'v to decide between the Qosmio F30 and the Satellite P100

I reside in the middle east region and here are the specs available on P100 and F30

I am not a hardcore gamer. But I do play few games at times like BF2, COD2, Half Life 2 and specially NFS MW :) I want good graphics with no lag.

I like the Qosmio F30 more than the P100 cause of its amazing display and speakers with integrated subwoofers. But I like the P100 cause of the 7900 GS card and the 17" monitor. Im sure you all experts here will help in choosing the right one.

BF2,COD2,HF2 and all of todays games will run well or even "perfect" with the GF7600 ;)

The go 7600 is a very capable card, but if you can afford it, I'd say go for the 7900 if you intend to keep gaming on a long term basis.

it also depends on how portable you need it to be, a 17"machine isnt the most preactical thing to lug around everday, 15.4 isnt bad, though my next one will definately be 14.1 or smaller

I think you are confusing the 7900GS with the 7900GTX in the Satellite. The 7900 GTX is the same card in the M1710, which would blow away the 7600 in terms of gaming performance.

7900 is quite a lot faster than 7600, and it can be felt in BF2 and other really demanding games. In HL2 and such, it doesn't really make much difference, though.

The Qosmio engine doesn't make a difference. For gaming, I would recommend the Dell XPS - it is better suited to that than the Toshiba. Get the Toshiba if you are a multimedia junkie.

The P100 has rather shoddy build quality in my opinion . . the keyboard is also nothing to rave about. However, it is a competent gaming notebook and a good value. You also might want to look at the Dell Inspiron E1705 or 9400 (same thing), a Go7900GS is offered.

    Thanx alot for replying.
I found the P100 more portable coz it weighs 3.2 KG whereas the Qosmio F30 weighs 4.3 KG.Theres a huge difference.Sometimes i feel like going for the F30and sometimes the P100 :) I think i should go for the P100 coz i wud also be able to play future games at higher settings and 17" display will be better.

The only better feature in the F30 is the great speakers with integrated subwoofers and the performance of Qosmio rocks.

Actually, im unaware of the performance of the P100, I wish someone here is the owner of a P100.

Id go with the Toshiba over the Qosmio although thats a really hard choice. I think youll enjoy the 17inch screen and 7900GS in the Toshiba more. Id also take a look at the Dell E1705; many of us here have them and love them. They arent as "cool" as what youre looking at, but are much cheaper and probably faster.
