    Hi everyone,

It might have been asked before but I didn't find anything after searching the forum.

I've been waiting for the new XPS line and it seems that they won't release it until Go 7900 is launched. Am I right? The 7900 for desktop will be launched it 2 days, any ideas on Go 7900's launch date?

    Thanks alot,
    Sam

i believe the industry answer is "tuesday"...but that means almost any day ever.

i think it will be released by summer though, to be released in their summer lineup.

OK, the 7900 for desktop is out now. Any idea about Go 7900's launch day? April, May or June?

I'd say it's going to be released/announced on, hm, March 20 something. Can't say more than that.

I posted a thread in Dell section weeks ago. I was downloading wireless driver for my Inspiron 5150 from Dell's website and found out that in the description it said the driver is for:

    5150, 5160, 6400/E1505, 9400/E1705, Latitude D620, D820, Precision M65, M90 and XPS M1710 and M2010.

Well if I remember correctly, there was a 6 month gap between the 6800 and 6800 go. So that would means it might not be here untill September.

The intervals between porting a card from the desktop world to the notebook one are much shorter now. Keep your eyes peeled sometime in the 20's ..

if they come out with the 7900 for a laptop this soon, does that mean the SLI laptops coming out will have it as well? not like i can justify that purchase to the wife..or to me, but still good to know..

    pb,out.

    I doubt it...

The new XPS for example (M1710) is more than likely going to have this card in it. Which is why i have been saying, the M1710 seems logical to come out next month

I double nickspohn. I also think that the XPS 2010 will come either with 7800SLI or 7900 SLI.

The Go7900 will be released in March sometime . .

The 7600 has been out. They released the 7600 for the desktop recently.
