im trying to decide between a toshiba P105 which comes with the 7900go or a sager 7520 with the 7800gtx
i know in the sticky thread here, the gtx is one step above the go, however the toshiba is a good 400 bucks cheaper then the sager, so i'm wondering if there's any noticable difference between the two cards, assuming the rest of the notebook's specs are identical

I believe the difference is slight with the 7900 have a higher clock speed of 650mhz vs 7800 gtx 600mhz. The 7900 is based on 90nm tech vs. 7800 110nm

The 7800 GTX is about 12% better than the 7900 GS in gaming.
If you like you could fill out the FAQ and post it in the corresponding forum and we could find a good notebook for you. -

The Go7900GS is about 12% faster than the Go7800GTX, plus or minus as stated. That's according to 3DMark06 benchmarks.
The Go7900GS runs much cooler than the Go7800GTX - about half the power consumption, plus better power management.
