    Im looking to buy a dell inspiron 9400 with the 256mb go 7900 graphics card, I was just wondering if anyone uses this card and how good is it? do you get good frame rates as well as good visuals. Could I paly oblivion on full settings? Is it also possible to use 3d max with this card, if so how good does it run?

    Also, hows dells build quailty. This is the first laptop im going to purchase ever so I want to make sure it will last for a long time.

    1. There are only a few cards better than the Go 7900 GS so that will answer your question...

    2. There are so much information flying around, no matter sticky or not...

    i was in the same position as you a few weeks ago, i opted to get the XPS insted of the E1705 because of better build quality. The 7900 along with my configuration is basiclly amazing, in counter strike source i get 60+ FPS, Doom 3 runs very smoothly with beautiful graphics. Basically the 7900 owns.

    You won't be able to play Oblivion on full settings that is the most demanding game today. However you can download some mods that will help you out to put the settings higher.
