    Go7600 and FS9

    Any one ever played Flight Simulator 9 or Operation Flashpoint (both on max config).. with an Go7600?? (and Dual Core Duo 2 2.0 with 2Gb, or any other config.)

    FS9 at full/extreme settings can still bog down even the highest end system! At very high settings it works very well with duo chips and the 7600. Can't say the same for flashpoint having not played it but given its age it should fly on new hardware.

    OFP will run perfectly with about 10K view distance. I get about 8 on my X1400.

    With any addons or only default units?

    because I'll buy my next notebook to play FS9 (probably FSX too) and Armed Assault (like an OFP2)

    FS9 is a frame killer.. but I dont know If the Go7600 is fast enough to play the FS9 with any addon.. I couldnt find any body with a go 7600 Notebook and FS9

    FS9 runs buttery smooth compared to FSX.

    And FSX doesnt have much more than we already have on FS9.. and a lot of FS9 addons just dont run on FSX ..

    FS9 runs great on my Go7400. FSX is slightly choppy, yet acceptable on the Go7400. Addons for FSX will be developed in time.

    I like how the TV spots for FSX show gameplay in the 8-12 FPS range lol. Still, it looks real purdy when you just take snapshots.
