So...can you die?
I ask because my wife and I are playing it as a co-op game, where she controls the mouse and I'm in charge of the keyboard. It's great (though somewhat erratic) but much more suspenseful than it needs to be because we're both crazy control freaks, and worry about the an Amnesia-eque moment where we'll have to hide in a closet and turn out the lights...but our fat-handed-ness will get the best of us and we'll both freak out (in not a very team way...)
So, if someone can confirm nothing will come chasing us (like Danny the creeper...) and there's no way to die in this "story", then we'll just relax. Otherwise...we may end up each playing a game...side-by-side.
Also, awesome game!

Gone Home was a nice story experience, but I'm not sure not I would've liked it as much if I'd paid full price. It is quite short.
If you are looking for more story games to play with your better half take a look at one of Telltale's newest adventure games (eg. The Walking Dead). You really don't have to actively control their games to be able to enjoy them, so they're perfect if you're more people around a TV or monitor.reborn2003 likes this.
