Well I was tired of getting lagged down at the beginning of BF2 Maps so I decided to just go ahead and get 2 Gigs of Ram instead of one.
I went ahead and ordered this two of these from Newegg:

My question is has anyone got this kind, is it good ram for my gaming apetite, if not what should I go with?
As you can see I am willing to drop from 160-180 on Ram (gonna try and sell my 1 Gig of 667 Dell Ram for 100 bucks so its worth it to me to get good ram) Thanks alot for any info

If you can afford it, and want more stronger RAM, i would think about Kingston or Crucial. But what you have now will work fine.

OCZ is very good quality ram, you made a nice choice

I have two of those sticks in my laptop, and they are excellent quality indeed. I've had nothing but success with it.

How about any compatability issues, meaning do you think they will fit in my E1705

Yes, it will work
(Sorry for the messed up response before)
DDR2 is what you need, and you have it selected -
OCZ ram is top notch. OCZ makes very nice prodcuts, and for my desktop motherboard (DFI) they are the #1 brand to use. They also have reps on their website ( www.dfi-street.com) to help out with anything that has gone wrong, or just answering questions. (i also use their psu, and couldnt be happier)..
hope this helps..

Sorry about this just wanted to Praise Newegg
Ok it's sunday at 1PM (earlier today) and I decide to buy this ram, at 2:57 PM this ram has shipped, how fricken ridiculously quick is that ? These guys should get buisness of the year award or something because this is fricken ridiculous! Anyways yeah so I will have this Ram on Thursday at the latest (usuallly takes 2 days to ship so hopefully Tuesday or Wednesday -
i have spend probably 4k at newegg, and EVERYTIME i use them, i am always shocked by how quick they are. i order on thursday morning, and i am able to get the shipment by friday afternoon (with overnight, but no guarentee of shipping same day). i love newegg, and their service is amazing.
A+ vendor.

OCZ baby~! BUUUUUUUUT, and this is a big BUTT
D), do some reading on ram before you purchase as they are not always as they are advertised or spec'ed out to be. Plus some systems like certain types of ram.
Google ram reviews or look for reviews of that particular type of ram and then decide.
I say this because I too have come to realize, in the past, that what I had just purchased was a really good product, but for the same price or less money I could have had something that is better for my current configuration.
Cheers,
Mike
