    Good games for the road and Travel?

    What games do you like to play on long plane rides or car drives, or maybe inbetween classes in your free time? Im getting a new notebook with a X1400 and im going to be traveling quite a bit this summer, looking for something fun in my downtime.

    I havent been in the gaming world for a few years now, so im sure there are a bunch of good games that are just starting to age now that i dont know about. Im just looking for some fun games from new to old to retro to emulation.

    I think i like to dig up some of my old command and conquer games, or get my hands on shadow warrior. haha. But id also like some suggestions on some of todays games.

    On the road I play older games, because my card's power consumption needs to be as low as possible. I would suggest Deus Ex (best game ever!), Half-Life, Age of Empires 2, WarCraft 2, Hitman 2, NFS Hot Pursuit,... Any game that's older then say, 3 years, can be run at highest resolution and all eye candy without draining your battery or heating up your laptop.

    go find those old cd's! :p

    A couple other games you might want to try. Starcraft, Freedom Force, and I second Deus Ex.

    On roads: Starcraft (if there is mouse space), NBA Live 06, but most of the times I would rather watch a movie.

    In classes: Mostly those flash games that are online. Even tho they are pretty cheap, but they are very addictive XD.

    Anyone in here do any emulation? like snes or sega? for all those classics. i really just want to play all the mario bros. lol.
