What's a good racing game that involves modern cars? I'm looking for something that will let me free roam and have different supercars like McLaren, Saleen, etc. Also, if it will run nicely on my laptop (sig) it would be great.

Next question: Is it possible to update my ATi driver without getting Catalyst?

No free roam, but I always thought GRID was good.

For free roam get GTA4 :p

GRiD is awesome and Vicious why call out a game he cant even play lol. Not sure what I would recommend for free roam...... really dont. NFS Carbon should be cheap and maxable on your system but its a little old now. Has modern cards some of the newer models but its still old.

Just tried to install Paradise and it says not compatible, maybe cuz I'm x64.

I'll install Carbon and see. GTA 4 is all right, played it on my friend's 360 and it runs OK on my laptop, not the best.

Test Drive Unlimited was really fun for me, There are some graphical glitches but usually if I alt-tabbed they fixed them selves. It has all kinds of super cars Saleens, Mclarens, and koenigseggs. Also the whole game takes place on a Hawaiian Island.
