Hi guys! Appears I have a stuck pixel. I have tried JScreenFix - Fix stuck pixels and screen burn-in and no profit. But, do you think the pixel massage is 100% reliable? I
don't want to screw the monitor up. Are there other ways to fix it?

    Thanks!

Are you sure it's a stuck pixel and not a dead pixel? If JScreenFix didn't work... try it again? >.<

It's definatly a stuck one. It is a blue dot. And doesn't change color ONLY in a dark background. In a white one, it is white.

I got the exact same problem too, since day one I got this laptop. Blue stuck pixel, only on darker background colors. Any help on how to get rid of it would be nice.

heh, i have stuck pixels on both my notebooks. Its a pain i know but nothing worked for me either so the only choice you have is to live with it. On high res screens like my Asus, its really really hard to notice and i can only spot it if i look at the specific spot closely. So its not so bad. Bit annoying if its in the center of the screen though.

It's not stuck only on dark backgrounds, it's always stuck. You just don't notice it on bright/white backgrounds because it would be on anyway.

The 'stuck pixels' programs don't always work, if they do you should consider yourself lucky. Depending on the manufacturer's pixel policy, there's likely nothing you can do about it except get used to it. You should call the ASUS warranty number and complain about it and see if they'll replace it for you.

It is the second one, because the first had THE SAME problem. And I put a white image, and it is not blue, it is white.

Call the manufacturer, outside of running those programs there's really nothing to be done that I know of.

That's correct there is little you can do other than replacing the display. Sometimes those programs work and other times they don't. And usually stuck pixels are more common than dead pixels. I'm amazed the technology/manufacturing process has cut down on this issue a lot.

Unfortunately all LCD's are prone to this as it's inherent to the technology. I remember buying the first generation Sony PSP back in 2005 and all four PSP's I tried had displays with stuck pixels. I got so tired of seeing them I returned it to Best Buy for a refund.

Thank goodness things are so much better than say 5 years ago. I rarely see a stuck or dead pixel on any of my LCD displays. :)

White contains blue..... White is when the Red Green and Blue subpixels are all lit at the same time, it's not actually white, your eyes just perceive it that way.

First time I went in : ASUS ML238H with a stuck pixel. Changed to the Samsung TV 2270FHD.
Second time : The TV has a broken HDMI port. I come in, and change to te ML238H again.
Third time : epic laugh :(
