I bought a acer aspire one d270 and it was weak in performance but could play 1080p with ease. I exchanged it for a better asus x53u with a e450 cpu more ram and better gpu 6390 or something. plays games fine albiet low/med for newer games.

I have been trying 1080p video out and for no apparent reason it is very choppy does not play good or even fair at all like 4 fps. this laptop is supposed to have ud3 and play 1080p with ease. what settings do i need to change what can i do to fix this problem besides taking the laptop back as its actually perfect for my uses

Yup, the AMD Fusion e350/e450 are CRAP for CPU rendered 1080p. Been there, done that, and returned the whole HTPC because of massive problems with stuttering and frame rates on a e350 when you cannot use GPU acceleration.

Uh... The GTX 660M is slower than the 6990M if it matters... >.> The only cards that are faster are the 7970M and the 680M.

I think that you should be happy to get 26fps in Just Cause 2 because the CPU and GPU just are really really bad. I myself have an AMD E-450 machine borrowed from a friend for a few days and you can play some Games only on very low settings.
Here are some Games that work on it (tested it myself):
    Dirt 2 (low-medium settings)
    Resident Evil 5 (low settings)
    NBA 2k12 (low settings)
    PES 2012 (high settings)
Splinter Cell Double Agent (medium settings)
    Street Fighter 4 (medium settings)
    Virtua Tennis 4 (medium-high settings)
    Rayman Origins (high settings)
    Race Driver GRID (low-medium settings)
    Gears of War (medium settings
Ghost Recon GRAW 1+2 (medium settings)
    Dead Space (low settings)
    Mirror's Edge (medium settings)

    Are you really being serious?

edit: On second thoughts I think you are on about you were getting 45fps on your netbook now and 20 fps. If so make sure you run with your power supply connected and make sure the netbook is cool as it can throttle if not. Last thing is make sure you have up to date drivers or if you updated them and the fps went down roll back the drivers to an older one.

Last thing is make sure your laptop air vents are not blocked.

I just lol at reading your other threads, what happened to the 6990m laptop or was it all a fantasy?

you all misunderstood me. nice to see people here assume stupidity in others.

I didnt say it was faster or expecting it to be faster than the 6990m obviously.

6320 old score vs 6320 new score. same card diff performance.. it has dropped and was seeking help as to what it could be

Do a full uninstall/install of the drivers using driver sweep, and if it doesnt work it out, come back here

The animosity in this thread is starting to get to me. Either say something constructive or don't say anything at all.

OP I have merged the threads you made, if you have a problem with that you can PM me.
