    I cannot wait for this game. I thought Guild Wars 2 would be the game for me but it turn out it wasn't. Considering that GTA IV was a PC failure and had even less content than San Andreas, I have a feeling Rockstar will go all out this time around and make the best GTA game to date. They even said you could go surfing in this game.

    I read somewhere that the engine is going to be much more optimised for PC this time round. Similar to its implementation in Max Payne 3 I guess. Agreed, can't wait for this game.

    While GTA V will not doubt be pretty awesome, I'm still hankering for a pc version of red dead redemption, which imo is the best rockstar game ever made. Ah one can dream.

    Looking forward to this one as well, loved Max Payne 3, as a big fan of Remedy's work on 1 and 2 I didn't think I would but I did. Don't know about RDR being the best Rockstar game ever. As for myself I couldn't finish it. John Marston has to be one the most annoying characters in a game I have ever encountered. There are better western games anyway, like Gun, and Call of Juarez.

    RDR was awesome, Marston or not. But I agree, can't compare it to GTA3/VICE CITY/SAN ANDREAS. Those games just broke all previous 'rules' in games.

    I still think San Andreas has one of the best stories and most interesting characters in a video game. And they are going back to SA for gta 5.

    Just hope its not some poorly ported crap like gta 4 was.

    Vice City was probably my favorite, but I'll definitely be pre-ordering GTA V if they include some tasty incentives. Hopefully I won't have to upgrade anything in machine in order to get it to play decently.

    According to Game Informer, GTA V will have 3 main playable characters - Michael, who cut the deal with feds and now lives in the mansion in a la Beverly Hills, Trevor, ex-military pilot, and Franklin, who works for the Armenian mafia.

    They haven't announced it for pc. As of now it's only coming to the 360 and PS3. Rockstar won't comment on a pc release.

    If we're lucky lol. They could pull a RDR and ignore us altogether. Granted, I'm pretty burned out on the genre as is. They'd have to make some serious improvements to make it a day 1 purchase for me.

    I'm still betting a earlier 360 and PS3 release with a later crappy PC port. Not all games are like this but this seems to be the ugly ever growing trend.

    Yeah, keeping in mind that LA Noire was badly optimized too. Wonder if the port was made by Team Bondi themselves or R* got involved.
    Why can't Rockstar Games learn from their mistakes. Look at Violition, after crappy Saints Row 2 port, we got a well optimized SR3.

    Really hoping for an optimized PC port. I am very intrigued with the idea of swapping between three main characters, and each character living out their life one their own when you are playing as another one. Sounds like a lot of good times to be had, and if implemented properly, should keep things from getting stale even after a lot of play time.

    Looks brilliant. Its great how Rockstar can make GTA 5 similar to previous titles and it will still be a great game, but instead are truly innovating to try and deliver a new experience.

    Just hope a PC version is released eventually, otherwise will have to dust off ye olde PS3.

    The only thing keeping me from preordering is that I'd rather play this on my PC than my Xbox. This game looks like it will be bleeding with charm. Watching Michael interact and comment about his son made me laugh.

    PC usually releases 6mos to a year later, right? I'll buy it for a console and play through it, then get for PC and drool at the graphics while I drive around and cause general mayhem....like every gta.

    Consider me beaten down by the man (Rockstar), I'm not waiting for when's and if's and another possible crappy port. The game arrives tomorrow and it will be the first time I've fired up the 360 in over a year. Guess I should turn it on today and see how many updates and reboots it wants to do.
