I am in the market to buy a laptop. I am by no means a gamer. I will use the laptop for Surfing, Poker, Digital Photos (Converting RAW to jpg files quite abit), and Personal Web page design. I have been looking at the nc6400 (RB518UT) which has 64meg dedicated. Would this be enough? Thoughts? Thanks in advance

Photos won't really need a graphics card. An integrated graphics card such as the Intel GMA 950 will suffice for photos and running Vista if you want to run it.

Yep. Photo work relies on the CPU, not GPU.

Then again, you play poker, any other games? It's always good to keep your options open. With a decent dedicated graphic card you'll have the ability & flexibility to play many more games if you should choose to. Just something to consider.

Any integrated or lower-end dedicated graphics cards will be fine. For you, considering you're not going to be doing any sort of gaming, I'd recommend anything between an Intel GMA950 to a Nvidia Geforce Go 7300/ATI Radeon Mobility X1300.

In my opinion I recommend anything above a GMA 950 as to not a have such a bottleneck in the 3D department.

You should pick up a Dell Inspiron E1505 (or E1405) the 1505 can get an Intel 945, ATI mobility Radeo X1300 or X1400. I would say probobly the X1300 for you, since you dont plan on using this for games.
