    Hi,

I have a ASUS UL30VT (SUV7300, G210M, 1366x768,13") and the company just propose an upgrade to a Sony Z12Z9E/X (i7-620, G330M, 1920x1080, 13"). This model also comes with SSD drives.

I'm mostly an RTS player with some RPG in the middle.

I find a little painfull the size of things on that screen. I can change the font size but some programs (games included) don't allow such flexibility.

My major issue is whether, although having a better GPU and CPU, I will see any increase since I will have to "fill" 1920x1080 now.

    Any opinions are most welcome,

That Sony would be great for work related, papers, browsing web, etc etc @ 1080p.

But for gaming, I'd still scale it down to 720p on that. 720p on a 13" screen should be more than fine IMO.

if you are used to a 210 then the 330 will sem faster even if the pannel is a higher resolution the cpu uppgrade is nice to so yeah you will notice a small bump it's not a draw back but nothing that great

I tried to reduce screen resolution fo 720 but the end result is quite bad.

It looks better playing games at 1080p with low settings.

Given the answers It seems that it's not clear that a significant improvement will take place. So, I think I will keep my UL30.

    Thx
