    Hello,
I have been looking at getting a barebones and doing the work myself because I like putting stuff together and I like the savings but that aside...
    I like the MSI 1035: http://www.msicomputer.com/NB/product_spec.asp?model=MS-1035
But it comes with nVidia Geforce Go 6800...
I wanted ultimate gaming on this so I wanted the 7800GTX but I couldn't ignore this one's price
So here is my question: Will i be able to upgrade this to the 7800GTX?
and if so where can I buy the Geforce Go edition of that card?
i really appreciate any help on this subject
    Thanks In Advance,
    -TBird

it actually comes with the 6600 go...anyway, it doesn't seem like the video card is replaceable, aka it is not mxm, so i don't think you can change it. here's the link where i found the information:

    Hi there,

I don't know of any laptops with MXM that have the 7800.

There are a few barebones such as the ASUS Z81S that have MXM Type III and that should be apgradeable to 7800 in the future, or at least theoretically.

Check my sig for further information on MXM.
