The word is laptop. The Radeon is better, pretty much anything that isn't Intel is better than anything Intel. Try reading the sticky's and FAQ's and such up top.

As Pitabred suggests, try reading through the first post of the GPU guide. There's a lot of information there.

What GPU you need depends on what games you intend to play and at what settings. If you're a serious gamer, you'll want something stronger.

The Intel Extreme Graphics 2 is extremely outdated, I would stay away from similar "extreme" cards. The X200M is one of the decent integrated cards.

Intel extreme is an outdated and bad card like Dreamer already said. The X200M is newer and much better then the Intel.

    Good luck,

    Charlie :)

Better watch out there, they might see Mirage 2 128MB and go "Ooooh! Better than Intel!"

Funny enough I think that performs better then even the GMA in certain games, let alone the Intel Extreme Range. I do remember someone saying they ran UT2K4 on it on with a smooth framerate, more then the GMA can manage which has a wildly flucuating framerate no matter what settings you use. :(

PS - the worst integrated graphics I have ever seen was in a Via Cryix system - the laptop cost 109.99 new. Yes, new!

The graphics were 'Castle Rock 64Mb Shared' - it could barely run Quake III at the lowest settings, and Quake III can run on a 12mb card if needs be. Just awful!!

The X200M is way better than any Intel Extreme Graphics card.

Wow, where do you find similar things?

PS: "Castle Rock" - sounds like very solid performer, Intel should think about the names of their cards... such exotics sound even better :D
