Does anyone know of any graphic card tools that read core temps and fan control? Or do I have to wait for I9kfanqui 2.4?

    Hey Burrito,

I have heard that I9kfanqui is very good for Dell's, but sometimes they give wrong temperatures etc. My tips:

Mobmeter: Works always on every computer, does not include fan support tough.
Notebook Hardware Control: Like Mobmeter, but the more luxe :)
Speedfan: Nice to control your fanspeed.

Some notebooks do not support Fancontrol. Just like my M1437G. I am waiting for NHC next release. It will support ACPI control! :)

Edit: Mate you have one hell of a laptop :) Congrats...Can I know how you play AAO? At 1920* 1200 with all highest? And how does it play?

I agree, MobileMeter works on everything - you can get a CPU, HDD temperature very easy. Useful but very simple tool.

I say wait for the update to i9kfangui. The temps are correct. Hitman was talking about version 2.2 not 2.3. I say wait.

I was just stating that the temp problem was fixed, so the complaint would die. That's all. :) I'm a big fan of i9kfangui

    Hey Burrito,

I am also having the same problem... Some notebooks do not support fan control. Only thing I am waiting for is a new release of Notebook Hardware Control, it sais they will add ACPI support in the next release. That means you can control your fan afterall. So my advice is to wait to the next release.

By the way mate how does your notebook play AAO :)

AAO plays very smooth, not chops not bumps. (with everything on highest settings) and w/o an OCed card. I just got BF2 today as well. Hitman, email me at [email removed by moderator] to let me kno about the new release and such :)

Just click the person's username in one of their posts, and then there is an option for "Send a new private message to xxxx".
