Hello, I am having trouble with my graphics card.
I have a Lenovo T61p equipped with a Quadro FX 570m 512mb video card.
It was originally preinstalled with vista ultimate 32bit; however, when I had to reformat computer, Lenovo gave me recovery discs for windows xp. So right now, I'm running on a T61p with Windows XP installed.
Before I reformatted my computer to windows xp, my gaming was fine in Vista Ultimate 32bit.
However, after transferring to Windows XP, I have problems with gaming.
Initially, when I played Company of Heroes, I had a BSOD. So I figured, oh, driver problems. So I installed the latest drivers. 180.70. After that, my computer froze after 1 minute.
So I thought that I had a huge error. As a result, I reformatted my computer again.
After reformatting, and playing any game, and yes, any game, such as Assassin's Creed and Company of Heroes, it freezes after like 1 minute again. I cannot ctrl+ alt+ del, or alt+ tab.
As a result, I had to manually shut this down.
I am getting tired of this reformatting and errors.
Can you guys try to help me out?
Thanks
P.S. During my installation of the 180.70 drivers, or any other driver, I got the message that my video card(quadro fx 570m) has not been tested by Microsoft's Windows Hardware quality Labs(WHQL).

Will someone please help me? -
Try older drivers. Early 170 series or late 169/167 series and see if you still have the problem. By the way what drivers were you using when all was fine in Vista_32?

I just used stock drivers from Lenovo during Vista 32.

Well, can you get a recovery disc so you can try a reinstall of Vista?

Never mind, I fixed it. I used older drivers.
