This is probaby the most resource intensive program I will be running on my yet to be purchased Thinkpad Z61t or T60. The Z60t has no option for a dedicated card, but the T60 can handle up to an ATI X1400 128MB. Does CS2 benefit from having a dedicated graphics card, or is it really no big deal. If I got the Z61t, it would be stacked with 1.5 GB RAM, 2.0 GHz Core 2 Duo, and a 100GB 5400 RPM hard drive. Should that be enough power or should I go with the T60 and the dedicated card?
I also might be doing a little video editing and creation, but nothing serious.

Contrary to popular belief, Adobe CS2 doesnt need a graphics card. Its processor and RAM bound. Same goes for video editing.
Some people (including me) say you should get a small graphics card anyway instead of something integrated. The reasoning behind this is so the integrated card doesnt borrow your systems RAM when you need it. But thats up to you.
Graphics Card for CS2?
