    is it worth an extra £130 for an 7600 over an X1400?

    the question is, do you need the extra horsepower? if not, then no. if yes, then yes.

    Gaming= 7600
    Light Gaming= X1400
    No Gaming= X1400
    CAD/3D= Depends

    x1400 is gaming -.- , when i can play CS: source and HoMM5 with 4xAA/16xAF all high and still get 35fps (in-game) average that is gaming.

    The go 7600/x1600 level is approximately twice as powerful as the go 7400/x1400 level of GPUs.

    i dont think its worth 160 pounds to upgrade though unless your getting something else.

    By all means the 7600 is twice the card the X1400 is.

    But it all depends on what you are going to be doing with it.
