I am looking for a new laptop mainly for programming and to play wow on. I came across this site which had a benchmark list of the best graphics cards. I sorted it by FPS in WoW.
Computer Games on Laptop Graphic Cards - Notebookcheck.net Tech
I was just wondering why even the mid-range nvidias produce the same or higher frames than high-end Radeons? Are nvidias just better for wow's engine for some reason?

Also, I was wondering if anyone had an opinion on the A8 vs the i7.
    I've been considering this laptop:

HP Pavilion dv6 and dv6t Quad Edition series | HP Official Store

which has the i7 and 6770 Radeon, and this laptop(just all not refurbished)

    Newegg.com - Recertified: HP Pavilion dv6-6135DX Refurbished Notebook AMD A-Series A8-3500M(1.5GHz) 15.6" 6GB Memory DDR3 640GB HDD Blu-Ray Drive AMD Radeon HD 6750M

which has the A8 and 6750 Radeon.

Which one would be better for gaming? (in particular wow)

When trying to find info online comparing the A8 and i7 I came upon this:
AMD Llano, Intel Core i7 vs AMD Quad-Core Processor | TekNoise.com

If you watch the video in this link, the A8 clearly out performs the i7. I realize that the i7 does not have a dedicated graphics card which definitely hinders its performance and I also realize there could be other left out details causing the A8 to seem so much better than the i7.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    Thank you!
