I just bought a new 1520 from dell with a 8600 gt 256mb Nvidia card, and did a clean install to remove all of dells bloatware, when im in my computer configs, it says its video display is a standard VGA card or something like that.

Did dell mess up my order, because I ordered and payed for a nvidia card, or did my clean install effect this?

    Did you install the drivers?

I'm pretty sure you didn't install the drivers but if you want to check, download CPU-Z.
