    Hi all,

I need a question to be answered if someone can?

In my notebook I have Nvidia Geforce 8400M GS (256 MB) and its sharing about 752 MB from my 2 GB ram as well. I want to stop the RAM sharing...? The notebook is HP DV6700t. I couldn't been able to find the option in the setup(F2) and not even in Nvidia control panel.

The system automatically relegates the memory. You don't have to do a thing.

What your seeing is the max amount it will take, "when" it needs it, when it doesnt its free and clear for your other needs. You dont see it in the NV control panel because its a feature of vista, not nvidia and cant/shouldnt be disabled. My destops 8800GTS 320MB shows as having 1791MB. Its normal.
