Hi. I recently got a G1S, and because I wasn't ready to move to Vista yet, I did a complete reformat and installed XP, and using the driver pack somewhere linked in these forums.
From the beginning on I had version 163.44 from laptopvideo2go installed, however I had some annoying problems. When I watch a clip/movie which renders using DirectX, it has some graphical issues. VLC has colour issues, as everything is kind of greenish red, and there's a large strip of green or some other colour going vertically down about half way from the left in the video. WMP has also a colour issue, as well as there being no sound. I can play the videos using Direct3D and OpenGL mode in VLC, but I sometimes experience hiccups.
As for games, I have problems playing DiRT, as the menu as well as the actual racing randomly speeds up/slows down and occasionally the menu freezes for a second or 2.
I've tried other games, namely GRAW2, MOH:A and WIC demoes, and Area 51. They all play fine for some reason.
The DirectX diagnostic tools to test DirectDraw and Direct3D acceleration all pass.
I've now tried installing v162.18 from laptopvideo2go, the default driver from the XP package, and v163.44 from tweakforce, but they all have the same problems.
My question is, any other person out there experiencing the same problems, especially XP G1S users? And if you are a XP G1S user who has no problems with graphics whatsoever, can you please post what driver you have installed so I can try it?
    Thank you all.
