Gta 5 best game ever :)

Finally some news about gta 5.Its confirmed 1080p/30fps on both ps4 and xbox.Its seems that it will be a good port.Cant go wrong this time.PC has a 4K compatibility option so im optimistic about this port.

Its actually my most wanted game this year and its such a good news if the xbox can handle 1080p The other game i wanted this year is project cars and it was also delayed for 2015 .Guess i will need to stick with the crew this year

 

I am pretty sure PC version of GTA5 got delayed into next year too, no?

I have been waiting for this one for ages and it's finally near. I am optimistic that my GTX 680M will run it well enough to enjoy. That was the best upgrade and has been going strong ever since!

I bet that game will drive a lot of new hardware sales too. Hell, I bet people will buy new gaming laptops to handle that one too. What do you guys think? GTX 680M should handle it right?

680M will handle it. If it doesn't I will OC until it dies and go back to AMD


Seriously though of course it should be able to handle it. With a modest OC stock 780M performance is easily attainable at stock voltage.

 

680M will handle it with 60fps almost you dont need to worry cause its a much better gpu than xbox one has

 

It will definitely be able to play it. I'm sure you'll have to turn down some settings if you're in the hunt for 60fps though .

 

My experieince with GTA IV made me insecure. I suspect my 1TB M550 should help with the textures too (I hope). I want to keep this P170HM for as long as possible!

I wonder what the performance difference will be between Windows 7 and Windows 8.1, I heard that BF4 was 20% faster on 8.1, who knows what else will benefit.

 

I just hope driving those cars won't be too arcade. GTA 4 has very good physics, so please do not screw that up in the 5th episode.

 

Yes please. GTA IV and Mafia 2 had the best driving mechanics I ever experienced in a game. I don't get why it is so hated. I dislike driving in Sleeping Dogs/Saints Row/other GTA games. SP especially. It felt like a special kind of hell for me.

The GTA 5 on Xbox360 is very arcade, nowhere to the GTA4 enjoyability.

 

I'm inclined to agree. GTA4 has far better handling..for me that means less arcadie. The bikes in GTA5 aren't much fun either compared to GTA4.

I can sense it will run really nice on laptops, since it is running native 1080p 30FPS on Xbox One powered by a weak APU.

and watch them telling you that the game wasnt designed for the current gen of machines (PC's).. because a high end gpu (8800 GT) with a Core 2 Quad Q6600 couldnt run it properly on high !

I thought it was it, but for some reason wasn't sure if Wingnut meant exactly the same thing. I just remember how much disappointed I was as a kid when I saw nothing when I switched the camera to the front of the car. Now, GTA IV , fixed this issue, but the thrill was already gone... There was also some hot coffee in San Andreas.
Let's just hope GTA V manages stir our interests once again!

TBH I would find it more off-putting with an Oculus Rift. It's obvious GTA V is designed first and foremost as a third-person game and the graphics and animations reflect that. The first-person camera is a perk/novelty, not the way the game was originally designed/intended to be played. Close-ups on the textures look really bad and the animations are super uncanny valley stuff.

Sorry if I'm coming off as a snob, but if this game is supposed to be *** Simulator 2014, it needs to do it right. It's facing some "stiff" competition (NSFW).

 

Honestly I really want to see how it works out. Even if it's flawed. I need to know. For science (not that science *wink wink*). There are games out there which have a good 1st/3rd person implementation (Bugthesda Fallout/TES games) and bad/weird (ArmA, Hitman). Want to see how Rockstar handles this.

But do you get to drive and kill some people? I thought so! That's why GTA V will be perfect!

 

That cannot be, it is running absolutely smooth 1080p at 30FPS on Xbox One which has just a weak APU. It is the past now games need the strongest, newest rigs.

 

I want this for xbox one but I only have 69 left on my visa canada so cad and its 69.99 in the xbox store anyway of getting it cheaper

 

I got it on my PS4 and I have to say - FP basically renewed the game for me. Its runs so much smoother on PS4 > PS3. Its really night and day
