    Could you please solve the following equation?

    seriously, im just looking forward to playing at lowest resolution and graphics detail. you reckon it will be playable?

    rest of the system is quite cool : 2gb RAM, Core 2 Do T8400, win XP.

    im able to get San andreas at medium quality and 1024x768...doesnt it make a difference?

    Definitely will not run on a x3100. It will most likely make your notebook explode. :p

    San Andreas is a very old game now. With an X3100 you might as well just count out any new releases or current generation games, and stick to the older stuff.

    It's not we don't like math, is that we hate math that leads to no where, like trying to find the entire number that represents PI, never going to happen.

    We would be lucky to get low with a playable framerate. The game would lose so much immersion without the graphics

    Its too bad that so many notebooks out there have lots of ram, great CPUs, fast hard drives but integrated graphics.

    Its times like this which call for an external graphics card, I don't think the current Expresscard slots can handle their bandwidth, at least of powerful GPUs, but hopefully we can see this in the future.

    Asus announced their XG Station back in early 2007 and I hear it finally came out in May 2008 but still no where to be found! :confused:

    **** near all of the games that are coming out these days don't even support Intel graphics chipsets.

    i know! ive been looking at the xg station since it was announced. i would so get this even after i get my new laptop (with the 2600) lol i'd get like a gtx 280 for it. :p

    it'll work at max detail settings at 1440x900 on an X3100!
