    Hi guys,

Between UHD 1070 15.6 inch and FHD 1060 120 hz 17.3 inch or FHD 1070 or FHD 1060 which laptop will give awesome experience in smooth gaming and movies with breathtaking quality and colors?

If we play normal games like Battlefield and darksiders company of heroes etc on UHD 1070 then will the graphics get blurry or unattractive?

    Appreciate your quick answers.

    Can I choose neither?

The 1070 can't push 4K in modern games and the 1060 can't push 120Hz in modern games.

Much better to cap refresh rates than downgrade resolution from native....but I agree, I wouldn't choose any of these.

    6820HK or 7700K + GTX 1080 + 120Hz 5ms or 3ms (coming soon) + G-Sync is what you should aim for.

Unfortunately it would seems that they are dropping G-Sync feature in laptop, I can't find a 120Hz 5ms G-Sync in MSI laptop from any of the resellers.

Also even a single GTX 1080 is not 4K ready, maybe in the next gen. (GTX 11XX).

    .
Given the options presented, I'm pretty sure a GTX 1080 isn't in the budget.

The GT73 and GT75 have 1080p 120Hz G-Sync in all models. The GT75 just has an even better screen.

Take a look at HIDevolution or XoticPC bruh, you can't find any MSI model with G-Sync anymore.

the difference between 1080p and 4k on a 17.3" display is quite unnoticable. falling back to 1080p or 1440p with the 1070 is still your best option.

    Just don't expect a 1060 or 1070 at 4K to last long (2-3 years)

Because GTX 10 series is not 4K ready yet unless its a GTX 1070 SLI or 1080 SLI but I'm against SLI setup even though I have such setup, most games does not benefit or not optimize for SLI setup anyway so you better off with a single powerful card.

I am ok with their design and among above Asus models for which one I Should go for?

The reason for not ordering online is that I have a voucher which will work only on some of the stores here in UAE :)

If the MSI has a 120Hz + GTX 1070 then its the way to go.
