    next, 108xx? NO. The NVIDIA must be thinking about a totally redesigning on the next generation!

    After the 2xx series, perhaps we will be on to the PQ7xx series as some have long anticipated.

    lolz. funny thing is they just switched the text part to the front and put the numbers behind it. the GTX 280 is life a GeForce 2 series.
    Soon they'll reach GTX 860. I think they will remove the extra zero to prevent confusion. GTX 8600 might get some people.

    I'm gonna guess 1 or 10XXX series.

    The current series (280, etc) is likely the "0" series with the 0 omitted. hence a 3 digit series rather than the usual 4.

    7800 GTX
    8800 GTX
    9800 GTX
    (0)280 GTX

    future (IMO) would be 1XXX or 10XXX
