I posted in here because i thought the trailer looked amazing. And if they raise the level cap to let's say 40 or so. I might think about playing it.

Considering GW operated with separate instances, I never really called it an MMO. Even Anet once called it an Online Cooperative RPG or something like that. Really, GW is only MMO while in town. Once you're out, it's pretty much just an online game(lacking the "mass" part since it's only you and your team).
Apparently they're changing this in GW2 which kind of saddens me because I liked the instanced thing so if they keep the mission system I hope they keep the instances(I don't know how they'd do it if not without the instances).
I also hope the story gets a bit better, but then again, so far I've found all MMO stories to be kinda lame. -
pro:
you get to meet new people outside of just the cities, which is always fun.
cons:
people steal your monsters!
it would make the pve great to add to the fantastic pvp.
and i actually liked the stories -
Well idk how they'd manage the mission system(assuming they'd keep that) if it wasn't instanced. I mean, what happens if say the final boss of the mission got killed when you spawned in the mission
I suppose for exploring it wouldn't be as bad as long as they put respawns after a given time.
As for the story, well I didn't dislike them, but I didn't find them particularly intuitive either. Prophecies felt like a jumble of random things(halfway through we swap focus). Factions overall felt a bit too rushed(probably because of the timed mission). Nightfall was ok, but I could tell they wanted to tie the loose knots of Prophecies and Factions and sometimes it felt a bit stretched(considering each "chapter" is supposed to be standalone, Nightfall's many crossovers made it hard to "stand alone" lol).
Overall the stories were decent, but nothing superb. Mind you, like I said, I've never really been impressed with an MMO story so far. I mean, RPGs tend to have better stories, but even then, it's not great literature lol -

I think they are cool depending on how you make you character look. A dark looking character with evil wings is pretty cool
