ok. im going to be as honest as I can be without being harsh, because you asked for that.

Its kinda perverted. I mean, computer animated characters going through questionable motions... over and over again... to a song.

    it lacks direction and purpose.

it was longer than it was interesting.

basically it looked like you didnt really do any work, except record what someone else created and set it to an audio track that someone else created.

the camera work wasn't special either- it was mostly static and when it did spin around the scene there didnt seem to be much reason behind that choice. it didnt add anything.

So basically- it might sounds harsh, but I understand it was your first attempt at making a video, and hey, i dont have any video, but I will say this.

you had the right idea- you obviously started with a concept: "dance video" and built around that. try not to use animation that you didnt create, like dancing, as dancing in your video. be a little bit innovative and that will make it interesting. use the camera purposefully- think about why you move the camera when you do decide to move it. consider taking close ups, wide shots, etc. try not to be perverted.

    thats it. good luck.
