    Guild Wars and Windows Media Center

    It seems that everytime I close the game Guild Wars, Windows Media Center starts on its own. I have no idea why that is...and it only happens with Guild Wars, not any of my other games.

    Anyone have a solution?

    i am going to test that in a min, i have gw on my vista ultimate, haven't really played with media center yet but let see if i can produce the problem.


    update:
    It didn't happen to me this time.

    how are you guys shutting down gw? i return to the login screen then click the X.

    check your shortcuts or something, perhaps there is some parameter on either the gw shortcut or the one for media center that forces mc to load after gw or something, i think i am kinda out of my league on this one. we need someone versed in windows-ology and possibly programming or something.

    Well, once I'm at the login screen, I just click the X on the upper right hand corner. Then, after the game closes, Windows Media Center pops up a few seconds later. It happens even if I don't play, as in, I could open the game and close it immediately, and Windows Media Center would still open.

    As far as I can see, nothing regarding the GW shortcut would cause MC to load.

    I don't know why it had -mce in the shortcut originally, but it was there from the start. I tried to find out what it did, but didn't find anything on it, so I left it like that...
