Hi. I just reformatted my computer. I have all the guild wars games (original, factions, and nightfall) and was wondering if I wanted to install guildwars, would I have to install all the cd's from each of the guildwars in order to play each one or could I just install the nightfall cd's and have access to all the previous versions of guildwars?

you can just download the 50kb installer from their website and use that to update the game with all the expansions you own.

Or you can install from one of the expansion cd's. It downloads all the missing content no matter which approach you use. :)

I never have the CDs, but i think if you have time then downloading and updating is better.
Or you could just install Nightfall (for it is the newest) and updating the rest for the game is now over 2GB.
Btw, may I add you as a friend, I been playing for awhile but till poor and need advise
My character name is Cerberus Da Vinci.

mini client and let the net do the rest. It's tied to your account name.

I dont even do that though. I keep a back up of my GW directory (i.e. direct copy). GW does not need registry keys. once you run it on a fresh os, it will simply query the location of the main dat file (default is local dir) and that's it.
