I have an Nvidia 9600M GT and p8400 processor, and from what I've been reading my laptop should run TF2 with no problems at all, however I'm experiencing a terrible frame rate even at lowest settings.

I recently installed windows 7 and updates graphics and audio, but can't find the chipset software for PM45. To be honest don't even really know what I'm looking for, but intel website seems useless. Loads of stuff about chipset installation software, but no actual drivers.

I have a compal JHL90 if anyone wants to know specs, but I just can't seem to get to the bottom of this choppy framerate so would be exceedingly grateful for any advise.

    Thanks

    Go to
    INF Update Utility - Primarily for Intel® 5, 4, 3, 900 Series Chipsets
    and download
    infinst911autol.exe
    and execute it.

Also try enabling multi core in TF2 setting and see if theres any difference anfet you got the latest chipset.
That did wonders to my desktop AMD Phenom II x3 710 @ 2.6 GHz.
My lappy is too damn old for that game. lol
