12.11 beta work fine, gives me 1320+ 3DMark11.

Very limited options (as in none) for overclock either CPU or GPU though. It shows that the clocks increase, but FPS results are same whether overclocked or not.

I cant run 3Dmark11 for some reason. Locks up every time at the combined test. reinstalls reinstalls of windows 8 diff drives nothing fixed it. stock clocks even wont finish. in vantage i'm getting on average 4915.

Basically just trying to see if anyone modded some for the APU's to give them a little more umph. I use to mod nvidia drivers worked out pretty well might try and see if i can optimize some just for trinity but still doing some research on them so it may be a month or two lol.

Just seen some crazy results on 3Dmark with the hd 7660g with modded rives but did not give no details but buy the score im guessing that the benchmark looked like it was 8bit because theirs no way people are scorning that high i mean crap in vantage i'm pushing for 5k when i get my DDR3 1866 and i might not even hit that but then again i'm using fm approved drivers lol.

Also trying to find the best drivers for wow. so i been doing alot of /timetest and driver installs.

I'm getting something along the lines of 4700 Vantage score, so you've made a decent improvement whatever you did, lol. I'd really like to see a way to overclock the 7660G, but anything I try shows up as an increased clock but makes no difference in resultant performance. So it obviously isn't "taking" that overclock speed.

I was getting about 4,500 in vantage at stock clocks with all the stuff still on the pc "never uninstalled all the bloat."

I been overclocking with amd overdrive and i can put it to 1300 and have it stable but in 3dmark after about 900 it's pretty much the same.

Also i did use overdrive to tighten the timing on my memory and that gave me 3fps in world of warcraft i'll do more testing to see how it helped in raids i think i might not take as bad of a hit in say 25m's vs the stock timings

Early testing my average vantage run was 4559 and with a 100mhz oc it was a average of 4675.

I cant really remember offhand but in org stock i was at about 27fps on average and with a oc it was up to about 34fps "Ultra" So it is taking the overclock and making a pretty good performance gain .

After i burn some recovery DVD's so i can just revert back i'll remove all the software "A lot of processes running on the M6 by default" and see if i can get a few more points and fps out of it. But tomorrow i'll start on a hd 7660g thread and how it handles wow stock and overclocking and do some timetest runs. Might repaste it again. Overclocked with the pstate locked to 2.7 im hitting around 75c playing wow for a few hours and watching netflix its in the mid 50's max peak was 61c so maybe i did a crap job pasting it. Also going to add some more heatsink to the heatpipes since i got a nice open area of where the version with the graphic card has it so i figure i would put some heatsinks off the heat pipe there with some thermal epoxy.

Oh yeah looks like you're from MI. I'm from Gibraltar lol

Yeah my 3Dmark Vantage score goes up but the 3Dmark 11 stays the same. But overclocked there is a pretty good real world improvement in wow. I benched the heck out of it and see about a 10fps jump overall on my benchmarks for wow.

Also rocking crysis 3 on med at 720 and its running pretty good. HD 7660g is one heck of a igp i havent seen any results with the HD 4000 "My G75 cant run it" but i dont think the hd4000 will be close in it.

That screen shot was with some modded drivers lol.

I ran HD 4000 on an i7-3610QM with 2133MHz RAM and it scored 3DMark 11 of ~ P750, so no, HD 4000 can't come close. I can overclock the HD 4000 by about 200MHz, so will try that next though. Although it will likely not even break P800. I'll try Crysis 3 with the HD 4000 as well and see how it does.

Will these Trinity IGP driver mods be transferable to the othe APUs? Likey 7520g for example?

Have an HP G6 A10 with 8gb RAM and from maxing out to 1300mhz GPU clock in AMD OD was able to go from Vantage: 4816 to 5018; Mark11: 1351 to 1354. Kinda confirms what you were saying about 11 HTWingnut.

Is there a way to make the settings permanent in Overdrive? Seems kind of a pain to keep changing the settings each reboot.

I'll have to see if there's a way to get Afterburner to OC. Then you can set it to those clocks at startup.

Actually disregard. I see under preferences, I can load settings at boot. Would love to see others experiences though. However futile the attempts seem.
