Hi,
I have a Pavillon DV5040us notebook and I experience some lag during some BF2 maps (city maps are fine). I though that this could be either due to my slow HDD (4200 rpm Toshiba), my poor video card (Radeon Xpress 200M IGP 128mb dedicated) or the ram (2GB of PC2700 ram). I would like to upgrade the hard drive but I want to make sure it will make a difference... Do you think it will? Thank you

it will only make a good difference in loading times if you go with a faster rpm drive

The hard drive speed is only going to make a difference in loading times for the game.
It's not causing the lag.
IMO the video card is the problem. But you can't upgrade it. -
For sure is the video Card, I'm surprise you can play it at all.
