hi

im gonna buy a lappy with a HEL80 barebone. This lappy has a 7600 with 256mb, but it gives 3046 at 3dmark05 http://www.notebookreview.com/default.asp?newsID=3060&review=Compal

Is that because the 7600 is underclocked? if not, why?

yes, it is underclocked as is the compal hgl30. clocks are set at 350/350. if you want more details, visit the compal forum.
