So i bought this asus laptop with these specs and i thought it would be possible to play games without framelag but i'm going on killing floor wich isn't a heavy game but it gives me framelag everytime and bad one aswell.

I wan't to know what i can do to improve my laptop because i have the feeling that it somehow doesn't work propperly or something.

Also it said i could play gta 4 with full recomended settings but i'm sure that if killing floor lags theres something going on?

Can anyone please help me am i doing something wrong?
    I updated my graphic driver

    hi and welcome to nbr
the GT555M is an optimus switchable graphics card and im guessing your laptop isnt switching from intergrated graphics to the dedicated graphics.

i have no idea how the asus laptops work with this card so id better leave it to others to explain but you should be able to play games even though not on max settings.

gta 4 is quite power hungry so you might be able to play it on low to medium.

which driver did you upgrade to. was it the latest beta or the latest whql.

you can get the full list of the last 10 drivers > http://www.nvidia.com/Download/Find.aspx?lang=en-us

Have you whitelist the game to run using nVidia GT555M ?
You can whitelist the games in nVidia Control Panel.
