The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    HELP! oblivion saves keep crashing my compy!

    whenever i load an oblivion save my computer crashes all the way to reboot. i cant figure out why, i just got the shivering isles expansion which i thought had the new patch (right???) and i thought that would fix it, but no dice. every once in a while there will be a save that works.

    the specs for my machine are:
    fx-60
    7950gt
    windows xp x64 (is this the problem?)

    thanks for any ideas...
