Have finally got the beast
Running Win7 pro & all systems are at go.
Have undervolted (stable- 2 hrs Orthos stress test) via RMClock and cut the CPU temp by -6*C of the monitoring progs temps (RMClock reduced from 46*Cto 40*C, NST reduced from 53*C to 47*C).
Which opens the question of which prog monitors the temp correctly?
Other data for my unit:
Bios: 1.00.09ZC-Test (thats what is says. Wondering what the TEST means?)
KBC/EC: 1.00.03
9800 VBios: 62.92.49.00.A1
In the Bios Fan Control have 2 options: Continuous or Automatic (presently on Auto)
Have the impression my fans are always on. When the CPU temp hits 36-37*C (NST monitoring) my fans increase to medium speed.
OK need some guidance in the GPU-sector:
Soviet Sunrise has a very nice "cool-down"-tut for getting low temps on the graphic issue (actually several good tuts) but need to know how to incorporate these for my PC
