Hey, i wanted to change/upgrade my graphics card and get the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 280 or the NVIDIA GeForce 9800 GX2, but im really not sure if they will go into my laptop if you look in my Signiture it has my Laptop spec, can you please help tell me if i can and if so, do i need to do anything else after adding the cards ETC...
Im asking because ive never done anything like this before but please try and help me![]()
And if i do use my laptop for gaming most of the time will that ruin the graphics card or anything like that i just want to know all details so i can be sure i know what im doing!![]()

p.s can i change my dedicated graphics card if its "shared system memory" because with my graphics card i have 1023 MB of total available graphics.

The single most powerful mobile graphic card available is the 9800m gtx. The graphic cards which you have aspired for are not even available for laptops. I don't see any possibility for any graphic card upgrade in your laptop. Even if it is MXM compatible, the laptop will get too hot .

Those are desktop cards. There is no way on the face of this earth that either one would fit, especially the gtx 280 which is a beast of a card, around half the size of a smaller keyboard.

Yes there is no way of upgrading. Try for a light Overclocking using Rivatuner. Your card is actually an underclocked 8600m gs. Overclocking can yield some amount of performance boost.

Don't do riva tuner. Download nvidia system tools 6.02 from laptopvideo2go.com or nvidia.com
search for it on google
