Okay, quick question, my computer is apparently about to bite the bullet and i'll have to reinstall windows. I want to back up my COD4 multiplayer profiles so that I don't lose all of my achievments. Can I just straight copy the folder with my profiles to back them up then put them back in there after a fresh install or is it more in depth than that... please tell me its that easy.

    Yes, it's that easy :)

All you need to do is backup the "players" folder, then copy it back after you install it again. I've done it multiple times and it works no problem since all the files for multiplayer (your unlocks, etc) are stored locally.

Thank goodness, I was starting to get a little worried there for a second.
