look at the port labeled HDMI Audio out.
Will I be able to plug a set of Altec Lansing 4021FX via the provided 1/8" audio cable provided? Please answer this and youll be my hero. Also, if you know of any converter that I can plug male RGB Component Cables to and it will output anything compatable with any of the connecters in this monitor here http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824155056&Tpk=kds+26%22

Should work providing that your Video card with the HDMI output carries audio signal on the HDMI port. Otherwise you'll have to get the audio from some other port to the Altec.

That audio out port only outputs the audio from the HDMI port. You will be able to hook your speakers to it, but it will only play sounds that come from the HDMI interface.

Component Video (RGB) uses a different signalling to VGA, DVI, and HDMI. Therefore, if you want to convert Component to any of those three, you will have to purchase a converter box, which costs around $100 or more. However, with that, you might experience lag as the box needs time to convert the signals.
