    HL2 on cheaper laptops

    Has anyone played HL2 on their cheap(ish) laptop? By cheap, I mean not a $2000 gaming laptop with a top of the line GPU and CPU.

    it does not cover a cheap laptop, but rather an ultraport with a weaker video card that was able to run HL2 okay. So you might have success with a non top of the line GPU.

    Thanks for the link.

    This is weird, at certain places in the demo I was getting 4 FPS. Now I'm getting playable framerates throughout the demo. This is the first time in about 10 tries that this certain part in the demo has been playable. I'm pretty satisfied with an average of 30 FPS on integrated video. I can't wait to buy the full game!
